Cabinet of Consumerosities, 2010, 100" x 540" x 10", post-consumer waste, disposable plastics, found objects and metal studs.
Temporary store front installation consisting of post consumer waste, disposable plastics, found objects and metal studs, Seattle, WA.
This project was funded by 4Culture.
The aim of my store front installations is to create site-specific work to help revitalize depressed spaces and areas in transition in Seattle. Temporary art installations are beneficial for a number of reasons during times of transition and economic hardship. They encourage creativity and a more inventive use of space. My intention is to promote a healthier and more vibrant environment for both the area and the pedestrian. I want to work to help strengthen and celebrate our relationship with the community that lives, works and visits the areas.
